Hi, I'm Alice Nettleingham, the founder of The Non Smoker. I care about protecting your personal information and being transparent about how I use it. Personal details you give me directly:

Session notes:

  • Sessions themselves are not recorded.
  • I do not take notes during our sessions. My attention is fully on you.

Data Storage and Retention

I keep your personal information only for as long as needed to provide my services or as required by law.

  • Session notes are stored securely on a password-protected device and/or secure cloud storage.
  • Physical notes (if any) are destroyed after being digitised.
  • Your contact details are stored in my business systems for as long as we work together, or until you ask me to delete them.
  • Intake form responses and progress tracker responses are stored in my password-protected Google Drive, accessible only to me. They are retained for the duration of our work together plus a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up, and then deleted on request or after a maximum of two years from the end of our engagement, whichever comes first.
